01

Who We Are and Scope

Vyzrd Pty Ltd (ACN 644 537 119) (Vyzrd, we, us or our) is an Australian decision-intelligence company operating from Sydney and London.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with this website, our business development and client relationships, events, research communications and related digital services (together, the Services). It does not apply to third-party websites linked from our Services.

Where we provide a client platform or process information on behalf of an organisation, the relevant client agreement, data-processing terms and authorised instructions may also apply. If those terms conflict with this Policy in relation to client-controlled data, those terms govern to the extent of the conflict.

02

Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Identity and business contact information, including name, organisation, role, work email, telephone number and business address.
  • Account and access information, including usernames, authentication records, access permissions and security events.
  • Enquiry and relationship information, including messages, meeting notes, requests, proposals, support communications, event registrations and communication preferences.
  • Contract and administration information, including authorised contacts, transaction records and information needed to manage a client or partner relationship.
  • Technical information, including IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, timestamps, diagnostic logs and interaction data generated when you use our Services.
  • Recruitment information that you choose to provide when discussing employment or advisory opportunities.

We do not seek to collect sensitive information through the public website. Please do not provide sensitive, confidential or regulated information unless we request it through an approved channel and there is a lawful and appropriate reason to do so.

03

How We Collect Information

We collect information directly from you when you contact us, request a briefing, register for an event, communicate with our team, enter into a business relationship or access an authorised service.

We may also receive information from your organisation, business partners, event organisers, publicly available professional sources, service providers and technical systems that support the security and operation of our Services. Where reasonable and required, we will tell you if we collect personal information from another source.

04

How and Why We Use Information

We use personal information where reasonably necessary to:

  • provide, administer, secure and support the Services;
  • respond to enquiries, arrange briefings and manage client, partner and supplier relationships;
  • authenticate authorised users, manage permissions and investigate suspected misuse or security incidents;
  • develop, test and improve our website, products, research and client experience;
  • send relevant business or research communications, subject to applicable law and your communication choices;
  • meet legal, regulatory, risk-management, audit and record-keeping obligations;
  • establish, exercise or defend legal rights; and
  • support a corporate transaction, reorganisation or due-diligence process under appropriate confidentiality protections.

Where laws require us to identify a legal basis, we rely as appropriate on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting our business, and consent. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

05

Disclosure and Service Providers

We may disclose personal information to Vyzrd personnel and related entities; cloud-hosting, information-security, communications, customer-relationship, professional-advisory and other service providers; your organisation and its authorised representatives; regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where legally required; and parties involved in a proposed or completed corporate transaction.

We require service providers to handle information only for authorised purposes and with appropriate confidentiality and security protections. We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it for third-party cross-context behavioural advertising.

06

International Processing

Vyzrd operates across Australia and the United Kingdom and may use service providers that process information in other countries, which may include the United States and locations in which their infrastructure or support teams operate.

Where personal information is disclosed overseas, we take reasonable steps designed to ensure appropriate handling and protection, including contractual and organisational safeguards where required. Privacy protections and government-access rules may differ between jurisdictions. Contact us if you would like more information about the locations or safeguards relevant to your information.

07

Security, Retention and Data Breaches

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, interference, misuse and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Measures are selected according to the nature of the information and may include access controls, authentication, encryption, logging, supplier controls and incident-response procedures.

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for using secure channels, protecting account credentials and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorised access.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, to manage our relationship, meet legal or contractual obligations, resolve disputes and maintain security and audit records. We then delete, destroy or de-identify it where practicable and lawful.

We assess suspected data breaches and notify affected individuals and regulators when required by applicable law, including the Australian Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

08

Your Rights and Choices

You may ask us to provide access to, or correct, personal information we hold about you. Subject to applicable law, you may also request deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to certain processing, or withdraw consent. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse or limit a request where the law permits or requires us to do so. If so, we will explain the reason where lawful.

You can unsubscribe from non-essential marketing communications using the link in the message or by contacting us. We may still send service, security, legal and relationship communications that are necessary to administer an existing engagement.

Our Services are intended for organisations and professional users, not children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children through the public website.

09

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use strictly necessary cookies or comparable technologies to operate, secure and route the Services. We will seek consent before using non-essential cookies where required. The current categories and available controls are described in our Cookies Policy.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be entitled to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the privacy regulator in your jurisdiction. We ask that you contact us first so we have an opportunity to address the issue.

11

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our Services, practices or legal obligations. We will publish the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Where a change is material and the law requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it through an appropriate channel.
